Department of Women and Child Development (WCD) Puducherry Anganwadi Recruitment 2025
The Department of Women and Child Development (WCD), Government of Puducherry, has issued the official announcement regarding the recruitment of Anganwadi Workers and Helpers under the Shaksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0 initiative in the Union Territory of Puducherry. The department is inviting online applications from qualified native or resident women of the UT of Puducherry for the engagement of 618 positions on an honorarium basis under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme. This opportunity is available for candidates who have completed their 12th class education to work in local Anganwadi centres, with a focus on child nutrition, health, and early childhood care.
The WCD Puducherry Anganwadi Notification was released on 30th September 2025, and the online Google Form will be accessible from 1st October 2025 (10:00 AM) until 31st October 2025 (05:00 PM). Interested and eligible candidates are advised to thoroughly review the detailed WCD Puducherry notification prior to submitting the Google Form.
The WCD Puducherry Online Registration will be conducted via the Google Form. The steps for the WCD Puducherry Anganwadi Online Registration Process are as follows:-
Step 1: Women who are eligible natives or residents of Puducherry UT should access the Google Form starting from 1st October 2025 (10:00 AM).
Step 2: Complete the personal information, educational qualifications, and upload a scanned copy of valid proof of residence along with a self-attested XII mark list (no certificates are required at the application stage). It is important to ensure that the residence certificate is issued by the Dept. of Revenue (on or after 01.10.2024).
Step 3: Submit the Google Form no later than 31st October 2025 (05:00 PM). Physical applications will not be accepted. A Help Desk will be available on working days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Eligibility Criteria:
Anganwadi Worker: Minimum Matriculation and XII Pass required. Women from the local community (within 5 km of the Anganwadi center) are eligible. A residence certificate issued by the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management (not lower than the rank of Deputy Tahsildar) must be provided. A valid proof of residence should be uploaded.
Anganwadi Helper: Minimum Matriculation and XII Pass required. Candidates must be women from the local community (within 5 km of the Anganwadi centre). A residence certificate issued by the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management (not lower than the rank of Deputy Tahsildar) is necessary. Valid proof of residence must be uploaded.
