Yantra India Limited (YIL), based in Nagpur, is inviting online applications from qualified Indian citizens for the recruitment of the 59th batch (for Non ITI and IT Category) of Trade Apprentices under the ‘Apprentices Act 1961 and its amendments’ in Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories situated in various states throughout India.

The online registration process is set to commence in the first week of February 2026. The YIL Apprenticeship 2026 Online Recruitment Portal can be accessed at www.recruit-gov.com. Fresh 10th Pass and ITI candidates are encouraged to apply online until March 2026.

How to Apply:

Eligible and interested candidates are required to submit their online application via the Trade Apprenticeship at the Indian Ordnance Factories 59th Batch Application Portal (recruit-gov.com). The procedure for online registration is as follows:-

  • Step 1: Navigate to www.recruit-gov.com Portal – Click on “New Registration” to complete the application form with basic details, mobile number, and email ID to create an account.
  • Step 2: After receiving your Login ID and Password, sign in to commence your registration.
  • Step 3: Complete the application form and upload a scanned copy of your recent photograph, signature, and relevant supporting documents.
  • Step 4: Pay the application fee using the online payment gateway.
  • Step 5: Submit your application and print a copy of the application form.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Trade Apprentice (Non-ITI): A minimum of Madhyamik (Class X Standard) Pass or an equivalent qualification is required, with at least 50% marks in total and a minimum of 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science.
  • Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI): Completion of 10th grade along with an ITI qualification in the relevant trade from any institute recognized by NCVT, SCVT, or any other government-recognized institution.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age for Apprenticeship: 14 Years
  • For specific trades associated with hazardous industries: Minimum 18 Years
  • Age Relaxation: In accordance with the Apprenticeship Act of 1961 and Government regulations (further details available in the comprehensive notification)
