The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has announced a rolling recruitment drive for teaching positions under Advertisement No. CUTN/T/01/2025, released on August 18, 2025. The university invites applications for 19 posts across various departments, including Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors. • Complete your application online via the Samarth Portal (utnrec.samarth.edu.in) from August 18, 2025 (00:00 hrs) until September 17, 2025 (23:59 hrs).
• For each position, submit individual applications along with the required fee.
• Following the online submission, dispatch a printed copy of the application together with the necessary documents (educational qualifications, experience, NOC, research, reservation category certificate, if applicable) to: The Joint Registrar, Recruitment Cell, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Neelakudi, Thiruvarur – 610 005, Tamil Nadu by September 27, 2025.
• Clearly indicate “Application for the Post of [Post Name]” on the envelope.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Assistant Professor: A Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks is required, along with NET/SET/Ph.D. as per UGC guidelines. There is a 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PWD candidates.
• Professor & Associate Professor: A Ph.D. is required, along with publications and a research score in accordance with UGC Regulations 2018 and its amendments.
• Music: Traditional or professional artists who possess recognized performance credentials are encouraged to apply.

Age Limit:

• Age of superannuation: 65 years for all posts.

Application Fee:

• Payment via SBI Collect online portal.
• UR, OBC, EWS: Rs.50
• SC/ST, PWD, CUTN employees: Exempted

Selection Process:

• Screening and interviews as per UGC guidelines.
• Shortlisted candidates will be notified for further stages.
• University may choose not to fill any post without prior notice.
