NTA opened the correction window for UGC NET December 2025 applications until November 12, allowing candidates to edit details.

UGC NET December 2025 Correction Window Open

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched the correction window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) scheduled for December 2025 as of Monday. Candidates are encouraged to visit the official NTA website to correct any mistakes made during the form submission process.

According to NTA, the correction window will remain open for candidates until November 12. The national-level examination (UGC-NET) for JRF, assistant professor positions, and PhD admissions is set to take place from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026.

During this correction window, candidates will have the chance to modify certain details, although there are some details that cannot be changed.

Option that candidates can edit:

1. Date of Birth

2. Category UR, SC/ST, OBC, and others

3. Parents’ details

Candidates are encouraged to correct these mistakes, as they may impact eligibility and the calculation of merit.

In cases of such errors, candidates are encouraged to contact the NTA helpdesk.

The UGC NET scheduled for December 2025 will take place in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format. It will consist of two papers featuring multiple-choice, objective-type questions. The total time allocated for both papers is three hours, without any breaks. To avoid disqualification or delays in future admission processes, NTA strongly advises all applicants to verify their application details once more.
