Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

For the position of Constable (Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Pump Operator, and Upholsterer):

• Completion of Matriculation (10th Pass) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
• A two-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade OR
• A one-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade accompanied by a minimum of one year of experience.

For the position of Constable (Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, Khoji/Syce):

• Completion of Matriculation (10th Pass) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the respective trade, with a preference for candidates possessing multiple skills.

For the position of Constable (Cook, Water Carrier, Waiter):

• Completion of Matriculation (10th Pass) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
• Completion of an NSQF Level-I Course in Food Production or Kitchen from NSDC or other recognized institutes.

Age Limit (as on 24/08/2025):

• Minimum: 18 Yrs.
• Maximum: 25 Yrs.
• Relaxation: ST/SC: 5 yrs, OBC: 3 yrs, as per Govt norms

Selection Process:

• Document Verification: Verification of educational, caste, and trade certificates.
• Medical Examination: To ensure fitness for service, including vision standards.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running, long jump, and high jump (specific standards to be detailed in the notification).
• Physical Standards Test (PST): Height, chest (for males), and weight measurements (e.g., minimum height for females:155 cm; relaxation for reserved categories).
• Trade Test: Practical assessment of proficiency in the applied trade.
• Written Test (CBT): Objective-type test (100 marks, 2 hours) covering General Awareness, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, and Aptitude. Negative marking: 1/4 mark per wrong answer.
