How to Apply:
The online registration for the Canara Bank Apprentice program is facilitated through the IBPS Portal (ibpsreg.ibps.in/canbaug25/) from September 23rd to October 12th, 2025. Please adhere to the following steps:
- Step 1: Create an account on the NATS portal (www.nats.education.gov.in) ensuring that your profile is 100% complete.
- Step 2: Submit your application through the IBPS portal by providing your personal information to obtain an Application Number and Password.
- Step 3: Access your account using the Application Number and Password, and upload a recent Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Handwritten Declaration.
- Step 4: If applicable, pay the application fee using Net Banking, Debit, or Credit Card, and ensure that you submit your application prior to the deadline.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A degree (graduation) in any field from a university acknowledged by the Government of India or an equivalent institution, completed between January 1, 2022, and September 1, 2025.
- Local Language Proficiency: Candidates who possess 10th or 12th standard mark sheets or certificates that demonstrate proficiency in the specified local language are exempt from the language examination. All other candidates are required to successfully complete a local language test during the Document Verification process.
- Physical/Medical Fitness: Candidates must be certified as medically fit according to the Bank’s standards.
Age Limit:
- General – 20 to 28 years (born between 01.09.1997 and 01.09.2005)
- ST/ SC -5 years relaxation
- OBC (NCL) – 3 years relaxation
- PwBD – 10 years relaxation
Stipend:
- Monthly Stipend: Rs.15,000/- (Rs.10,500/- paid by Canara Bank + Rs.4,500/- by Govt. of India via DBT).
- No additional allowances or benefits are provided.
- Stipend is subject to adjustment for loss of pay, if any.
