Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a distinguished Mini Ratna Public Sector Undertaking operating under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, is inviting online applications from qualified ITI holders for positions as Fabrication Assistants and Outfit Assistants on a contractual basis (Advt No. CSL/P&A/RECTT/CONTRACT/CONTRACT WORKMEN/2025/14).

• Step 2: Complete the One-Time Registration in the SAP portal and accurately fill out the online application form.
• Step 3: Upload a recent passport-sized photograph, your signature, and self-attested certificates (age, qualification, experience, caste/PwBD if applicable).
• Step 4: If applicable, pay the application fee online and submit the application form.
• Step 5: Keep a printout or soft copy of the submitted application along with the unique registration number for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

Fabrication Assistants (Sheet Metal Worker / Welder)	Max 45 Years (as on 07 Feb 2026)	Qualification: Pass in SSLC + ITI-NTC in Sheet Metal Worker or Welder trade. Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience/training in fabrication (cutting, fit-up, welding) for Sheet Metal Worker; in welding for Welder trade. Note: Apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act shall count as experience.
Outfit Assistants (All Trades)	Max 45 Years (as on 07 Feb 2026)	Qualification: Pass in SSLC + ITI-NTC in the respective trade (Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic Diesel/Motor Vehicle, Electronic Mechanic, Painter, Machinist, Crane Operator-Electrical, Instrument Mechanic, Plumber, Shipwright Wood/Carpenter). Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience/training in the relevant trade. Note: For Crane Operator, ITI in Electrician/Electronic Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic + experience in crane operation.
