The National Testing Agency (NTA) has prolonged the registration period for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026. The deadline for registration has been extended once. Candidates are encouraged to visit the official website to submit their applications.
CUET PG 2026 Registration Extended
As per the most recent updates, candidates are now able to submit their applications for CUET PG 2026 until January 23, 2026. The previous deadline for the application process was January 20, 2026.
The NTA has clarified in its official announcement that the deadline for submitting online applications for CUET PG 2026 has been extended to January 23, 2026, at 11:50 PM. This decision was made to allow candidates additional time to complete their application process.
According to the revised timeline, application submissions will be accepted until January 23, 2026. Application fees can be paid until January 25, 2026. Additionally, candidates will have the chance to make modifications to their applications. The correction window will be accessible from January 28 to January 30, 2026.
Application Fee Details
For candidates applying within India, the fee structure is as follows: Rs.1,400 for the general category, Rs.1,200 for OBC-NCL and EWS, Rs.1,100 for SC, ST, and third gender candidates, and Rs.1,000 for PWD candidates, applicable for up to two papers. Additional fees will apply for extra papers, with Rs.700 for the general category and Rs.600 for other categories.
For candidates applying from abroad, the fee is approximately Rs.7,000 for up to two papers, with an additional charge of Rs.3,500 for each extra paper. Fees for foreign candidates are categorized separately.

To apply for CUET PG 2026, candidates should adhere to the following steps:

2. Click on the CUET PG 2026 registration link available on the homepage.
3. Complete the registration process by providing the necessary basic information and logging in with the application number and password received.

5. Download the confirmation page and retain a printed copy for future reference.
