The government of Delhi has unveiled its ‘Delhi AI Grind’ initiative aimed at equipping students with the skills to address real-world challenges through the use of Artificial Intelligence. This initiative is a component of the New Era of Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and Vision (NEEEV). The program is scheduled to run from December to March and will be implemented across all educational districts in the national capital.

The initiative targets students aged 10 to 25, with compulsory involvement from students in grades 6-9 and 11.

The Department of Education, Higher and Technical Education, in partnership with ViSV Foundation, will spearhead the initiative. School innovation councils and appointed NEEEV educators will also be instrumental in guiding students throughout the program.

As per the circular from the Directorate of Education (DoE), schools must register on the Delhi AI Grind website and select five campus ambassadors from among the students by December 8. Mini-grind sessions at the school level will commence on December 15, followed by internal assessments. Students will then advance to district and state-level selections.
