ISRO SAC Recruitment 2025: Online Application form 13 Project Scientist & Project Associate Positions

The Space Applications Centre (SAC) of ISRO has published Advertisement No. SAC: 01:2025, dated 02.09.2025, which invites online applications for 13 temporary positions of Project Scientist-I and Project Associate-I in various multi-disciplinary fields associated with Agricultural Science, Remote Sensing, and GIS-based projects, including FASAL 2.0, IPCM, and SUFALAM-II.

The online recruitment portal will be accessible from 2nd to 22nd September 2025. Indian citizens who possess qualifications in Agricultural Sciences, Geo-informatics, or related disciplines are encouraged to submit their applications.

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates may submit their applications online through the SAC ISRO recruitment portal from 02.09.2025 (10:00 hrs) until 22.09.2025 (17:30 hrs) at careers.sac.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Project Scientist-I (Post Code 01): A Doctoral Degree in Agricultural Sciences or an M.E/M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering/Agricultural Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 out of 10.
• Project Associate-I (Post Code 02): An M.Sc. in Geo-informatics/Remote Sensing/GIS or a B.Tech in Agriculture Information Technology/Geo-informatics/Agricultural Engineering with at least 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 out of 10.
• Project Associate-I (Post Code 03): A B.Tech in Computer Science/Data Science with a minimum of 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 out of 10.
• Project Associate-I (Post Code 04): An M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences (with specializations in Agricultural Meteorology, Agricultural Physics, Agronomy, Crop Physiology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Agricultural Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Informatics, or Technology) with at least 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 out of 10.

Age Limit:

• Maximum 35 years as on 22.09.2025 for all posts.
• Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and as per Govt. of India rules for Central Govt. employees and PwBD.

Monthly Salary (Pay Scale):

• Project Scientist-I: Rs.56,000/- + HRA.
• Project Associate-I: Rs.31,000/- + HRA.

Selection Process:

• Shortlisting based on academic records (if needed).
• Interview for shortlisted candidates, with selection based solely on interview performance.
• List of shortlisted candidates and interview schedule will be published on SAC website.

Application Fee:

• There is no application fee to apply for ISRO SAC Project Scientist & Associate posts.
