NCESS Project Scientist I Remuneration:

• Rs.56,000/- per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA). A 5% increment on the base salary is applicable every 2 years, subject to performance review.

NCESS Project Scientist I Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

Master’s Degree or B.Tech in relevant disciplines (Seismology, Geophysics, Geology, Earth Science, Marine Geology, Physical Oceanography, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Climate Sciences, Physics, Civil Engineering, or equivalent) from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks.

Age Limit (as on 21/07/2025):

• Maximum 35 years.
• Age relaxation as per Govt. of India norms: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PwD.
