Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2025: Application Form 37 JCO & Solider Positions

The 137 Composite Ecological Task Force Battalion (Territorial Army), 39 Gorkha Rifles, has declared a recruitment rally for the year 2025 to fill 37 positions designated for Ex-Servicemen (Pension Holders) and Ex-Women Employees (including those who have retired prematurely) from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) as well as State Forest Departments.

The rally is scheduled to occur from the 23rd to the 27th of September 2025 at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Cantt, Prayagraj (UP). Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements must arrive for screening, which will include physical tests and interviews, at 7:00 AM on the 23rd of September 2025. It is recommended that candidates familiarize themselves with the eligibility criteria, physical standards, and necessary documentation prior to their attendance.

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates are required to attend the recruitment rally at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Cantt, Prayagraj (UP) on 23rd September 2025 at 07:00 hrs for the screening process, which will include physical tests and interviews. There is no need for any prior online or offline application.

Candidates should bring the following documents:

• Discharge Book (Original)
• Pension Payment Order (PPO) (Original)
• 08 recent passport-size colored photographs
• Character Certificate from Village Sarpanch/Police Authority
• Education Certificate
• Domicile Certificate

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Ex-Servicemen (Pension Holders, Indian Domicile) or Ex-Women Employees (including premature retirees) of MoEF&CC/State Forest Department with a minimum of 20 years of service.

Medical Category: SHAPE-1.

Character: EXEMPLARY or VERY GOOD.

Physical Standards:

• Height: Male – 160 cm (152 cm for Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Assamese); Female – 150 cm. Relaxation of 5 cm in height for women from North-East/hill areas (Gorkhas, Assamese, Garhwalis).
• Weight: Male – Minimum 50 kg; Female – Minimum 42 kg (commensurate with reduced height).
• Chest: Male – 82 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion; Female – Minimum 5 cm chest expansion.
• Physical Tests: 1-mile run, pull-ups, 8’/9’ ditch crossing, zig-zag balance beam.
• Proficiency Test: Tradesmen – Trade-specific test; Ex-Women Employees – Test on afforestation and nursery management.

Age Limit:

• JCO: Can serve up to 55 years.
• Other Ranks (OR): Can serve up to 50 years.
• Candidates must enroll within 5 years from the date of retirement.
• Age relaxation applicable as per government norms.

Monthly Salary

• Pay and allowances as per Territorial Army rules, equivalent to Regular Army scales for respective ranks.
