Exams 2025-26 List:
- RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories): Pertaining to a range of non-technical positions.

- General Recruitment: All applicants are considered on the basis of merit and are evaluated through a variety of tests administered by Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs).
- Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Quota: Seats reserved for SC/ST candidates, offering advantages such as a lower cut-off point and age relaxation.
- Other Backward Classes (OBC) Quota: OBC candidates are given reserved positions with perks comparable to those of SC/ST.
- Ex-Servicemen Quota: Posts, including age relaxations, designated for those who have served in the military.
- Sports Quota: Selection is predicated on exceptional athletic accomplishments, and applicants must fulfill certain requirements.
- Meritorious Sports Persons: Athletes with outstanding national or international records are eligible for special recruitment opportunities.

Selection Process:
- Written Examination: Major Railway job vacancies do not require an interview (Viva Voce).
- Only a limited number of specific categories (Group A & B) necessitate a viva voce following the written examination.
- In some other categories, a skill test may be conducted (for instance, a typing test or a stenography test).
- For roles associated with operational safety, such as Assistant Station Master or Assistant Loco Pilot, an aptitude test will be administered.
